2nd Annual Virtual Hack-A-Thon

PromoStandards is excited to announce the 2nd annual virtual Hack-A-Thon. Join other Promo Professionals to compete for cash prizes, swag (of course), and most importantly… bragging rights! The event will be held from September 15th – 21st. During this time teams will meet virtually and collaborate to solve real-world problems our industry is facing.

Event Schedule

Friday, September 15, 2023 

| 2:00pm EST:  Kick-Off Meeting

Teams will then begin meeting virtually, choose a topic and start hacking!


Friday, September 22, 2023 

| 2:00pm EST: Presentations

Teams will present their solutions to a panel of judges.

Rules

  1. HAVE FUN! Teams will include members with diverse skills and backgrounds. We encourage you to be inclusive, flexible, open to new ideas, and embrace a team-focused approach.
  2. Treat all Hack-A-Thon participants, judges, and volunteers with respect and courtesy.
  3. Prizes should be shared equally with all team members.
  4. Teams should be made up exclusively of registered Hack-A-Thon attendees. No work should be done outside of the team.
  5. All planning, design, and development should be completed by the Hack-A-Thon team DURING the event. Working on a project before the event is not allowed.
  6. All solutions and work will be saved in the PromoStandards repository and will be available to the PromoStandards community.
