The 2023 PromoStandards Technology Summit is the premier Promotional Products Technology Event.  The Technology Summit features two days of education tracts focusing on industry relevant technology, PromoStandards Integrations and provides ample opportunity to network with industry peers.  This event anticipates 150 attendees from over 60 companies.

1st Annual PromoStandards Technology Summit

Join us for the PromoStandards 1st annual Technology Summit.  Our previous development workshops have grown up into a full fledged promo industry featured Technology, Education and Networking Event.  Our content will have multiple tracts catering to digital transformation, dev ops and PromoStandards development. 


The industry's only premier technology networking event will create a host of unique opportunities to connect with technology and business leaders across the supply chain.  Our event will feature over 125 attendees sharing and collaborating to ensure a stronger and more connected industry.

Eric Alessi, Chair of PromoStandards, welcomes attendees to the 1st Annual PromoStandards Technology Summit and sets the stage for what to expect and how to maximize your day at the event!

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Tom Stablein - Program Director, Executive Master of Science in  Business Analytics and Information Systems

Dr. Tom Stablein is the Director of the Global Online Business Analytics and Information Systems (MS BAIS) programs for the Muma College of Business. He also teaches project management, leadership and managing information resources classes in the School of Information Systems and Management. He earned a Doctorate degree in Business Administration and Information Technology from the University of South Florida. As well as dual master's degrees in finance and business administration at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and a bachelor's degree from George Washington University. Tom has 20+ years of demonstrated success with team management, application development, business analytics, project management, program management, and portfolio management.

Speaker: Michael Conway - Managing Director of Digital Transformation, Aspirant

Michael Conway, Managing Director of Digital Transformation at Aspirant, delivers this session targeted to Promotional product technology professionals.  This session will educate on how to align customer experience to strategic business goals.

Michael has more than 25 years of experience in Application Development, working across the Software Development Lifecycle, leveraging a range of methodologies and processes to successfully deliver complex and novel software solutions on time and on budget.

Michael is an accomplished leader of people, with a history of developing teams that successfully deliver projects of significance.  He has led multiple initiatives that introduced software solutions of varying technical complexity to deliver significant business gains, often transformative and with an industry altering impact.

Panel Leader: Catherine Graham, CEO at CommonSku

Technology, automation and transformation are allowing companies to scale shop floors and warehouses in the Promotional Products supply chain.  Catherine Graham, CEO of CommonSku, leads this panel discussion with industry production leaders and technology experts to investigate the impacts of digital transformation on the factory floor and warehouses across the Promotional Products landscape.

Join Amy Rabideau, PromoStandards Board Member, as she hosts an interactive panel discussion with a variety of technology product leaders. This interactive panel highlights companies who are benefitting from PromoStandards integrations in their businesses.

Breakout 2: ERP Journeys: Selecting, Implementing and Connecting

Speaker: Jon Norris, COO at Starline

This panel discussion covers the digital transformation journey of navigating an ERP implementation and how that integrates with your supply chain APIs.  These panelists are ERP battle tested and come prepared to share their journeys and lessons learned from ERP implementations.

Breakout 2: Technology Supporting a Hybrid Workforce

Panel Leader: David Jackson, VP of Information Technology, Spector Co.

The workforce was turned on its head in 2020.  Technology professionals quickly turned to technology tools to support, manage and ensure security for their remote work forces. Today those workforces come and go freely from the physical office and operate a host of devices.  This session covers the tools and best practices for supporting a hybrid workforce in the Promotional Products industry.

Do I need to be a developer to attend the Hack-A-Thon?

No, we are going to assemble cross functional teams that will include developers, business leaders, analyst, IT leaders and project managers.  This will ensure that all aspects of the deliverables can be presented for our awards ceremony!

Is this a PromoStandards Only Content Event?

No, while there will be significant opportunities to learn about PromoStandards, we will deliver industry relevant technology topics.  Digital Transformation, Supply Chain Efficiencies, Security and PromoStandards will be a few of the important topics covered at this event. 

Will the Content be virtual?

At this time, we only plan on delivering the content in person.  We will provide an event recap to all attendees. 

How Can I get Involved in the Summit?

PromoStandards is an all volunteer 501.c6, we thrive on volunteerism.  Please contact Jessica Shonebarger if you want to get involved in the planning of this event.  admin@promostandards.org

What will happen with the hack-a-thon content?

All attendees of the hack-a-thon will have access to an open source repository of the projects that are generated during the event. 

Is there a prize for winning the hack-a-thon?

Yes, there will be a significant cash prize for the winning hack-a-thon team

What is the Cancelation Policy?

If you need to cancel prior to 09/01 please email Jessica Shonebarger at admin@promostandards.org.  Cancelations will not be allowed after 09/01.  A 15% cancelation fee will be assessed to all cancellations.
